London and SE Archive

London & South East November Gathering

Our next gathering is at the London Action Resource Centre on Wednesday 19th November, 6-9 pm.

RLC London & SE is establishing regular meetings on alternating weekdays evenings and weekends to allow more people to attend.

In October, we discussed among other things:

  • Library apprenticeships
  • Developing a radical approach to management in libraries
  • Information provision for refugees

RLC events are open and horizontalist, so if there’s something you’d like to discuss or you have an idea for the evening you’re very welcome to bring it with you.

Feel free to bring along your own drinks and snacks. There will be tea, coffee, and samosas at the venue.

London & South East October Gathering

There will be a gathering at the London Action Resource Centre (the venue for RLC 2014) on Saturday 25th October, 1-5 pm. We hope as many like-minded people as possible join us that afternoon as we seek to build a network of mutual support and solidarity among similarly minded radical library and information folk.

This gathering is informal and there are no tickets, but if you’d like to it would be helpful to let us know you’re coming to gauge numbers. Leave a comment on this page or Tweet at @RLC_SE. Feel free to bring along your own drinks and snacks.

Donna Lanclos will be joining us to share ideas on professional radicalism but there will be room for other discussions as well.

London Anarchist Book Fair 2014

London and South East radical librarians will be gathering at the Anarchist Book Fair at Queen Mary University of London on the 18th October from 2 pm. All are welcome to join us at the Fair.
